Pluggable electrical installations offer greater value in AVL pharmaceutical centre
Contract
In Amsterdam, Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital has expanded with a new pharmaceutical centre. The new building has a large floor area and is divided into floors and rooms with different functions. Installation firm Breman Utiliteit Zwolle supplied and fitted all the technical systems for this project. Wherever possible, Wieland’s pluggable electrical installation concepts were applied.
Efficient installation solution
In the construction industry, the number of professional craftsmen is becoming increasingly scarce. As a result, a lot of work has to be done with fewer people. Pluggable electrical installation offers the solution. It offers high installation quality, easy installation, short assembly time and minimises failure costs..
- High installation quality
- Easy installation
- Short fitting times
- Minimal failure costs
- Wieland GST18-i5® cabels en –connectors
- Coded cabels
Pluggable electrical lighting systems
In the pharmaceutical centre, pluggable electrical components were used for lighting installations and other items. Wieland GST18-i5® cables and connectors were supplied for this project. These were connected using the plug & play concept between the power points and Maas & Hagoort lighting fixtures. Because the light fittings could be easily interconnected, fewer sockets were needed above the ceilings. There was no need for laying cables, drawing wires or welding junction boxes, which resulted in a higher installation rate. Logistical performance was enhanced by using clearly coded cables.
All pluggable electrical installations were supplied by wholesaler Technische Unie.
