Contract
The former branch of the Rotterdam Banking Association, a building from the 1920s that combines period architecture and modern spaces, is being completely transformed and redeveloped into a luxury four-star hotel. Steegman Elektrotechniek commissioned Isolectra to supply the pluggable electrical installation.
100% Pluggable electrical
Despite all the challenges involved in such a renovation, it was possible to fully install two hotel rooms per day by means of a pluggable electrical installation. In total, all 204 hotel rooms, spread over 7 floors, a restaurant and the corridor areas are fully wired with Wieland. This meant no longer using loose cords, cables and cable boxes. Everything was delivered in ready-made kits, prefabricated.

Fast and efficient
During construction, loose cords, cables and junction boxes were no longer used. Everything was delivered in ready-made kits, prefabricated. The materials were bespoke and pre-assembled, then packed and coded per room and per floor. This means pluggable electrical installation saves around 60–90% in working time and also reduces failure costs to a maximum.
