Pluggable electrical installation in concrete

Providing the E-installation and technical support at Hotel Van der Valk Gorinchem. Techval b.v. called on Isolectra’s pluggable electrical installations. What is new and innovative about this project is that the electrical installation in Gorinchem was cast directly into the concrete.

Pluggable in concrete

The complex is 13 storeys high. Floors 9 to 12 are pluggable concrete floors. This is exceptional because all Wieland RST20^® systems are pre-assembled, which means the electrical installer only has to click them together on site. Concrete is then poured directly over it. Of course, these materials must meet special requirements. The Wieland RST^® concrete system is specially designed, tested and certified for this purpose.

Efficient and durable

Van der Valk and Techval are so enthusiastic about this way of working that it is now being applied to other hotels which are under construction. This addresses technical staff shortages, enables faster installation and is also more sustainable.
