For the RAP Wonen project - affordable, sustainable, and high-quality homes based on prefab concrete elements - Ouwehand Bouwen & Ontwikkelen relied on Isolectra’s Wieland pluggable installations, specifically the RST® system, which can be cast directly into concrete.

Together with Ouwehand Bouwen & Ontwikkelen, Isolectra examined the RAP Wonen label and how the pluggable installation in concrete could be implemented so that the homes could be easily assembled, disassembled, and reassembled. The pluggable installations were pre-cast into the prefab concrete elements, meaning that on-site only the individual building components needed to be connected. By being involved from the design stage, a simple and effective installation concept was developed—at an attractive price.
