Pluggable, fast, and circular installation
Project
Delivering the pluggable installations for the 89 hotel apartments and 14 residential apartments of Waterstate in Goes, from the power supply infrastructure to the socket outlets, lighting points, and distribution panels.
Kits per appartement
For Waterstate, DWT Installation Group, Isolectra, and Oosterberg Roosendaal developed a plug-and-play solution with kits per apartment, enabling installers on-site to work quickly and efficiently. Failure costs were not an issue. What makes this project unique is that the kits include residual materials from a previous project. The Wieland components used are certified and listed in the Dutch National Environmental Database with a Category 1 environmental declaration, giving Waterstate an excellent score for sustainability and circularity.

Short Lead Time and Shortage of Skilled Workers
The lead time for this project was tight. For example, the electrical installations had to be completed very quickly and done right the first time. Combined with the repetitive nature of the apartments, the choice for pluggable installation was an easy one. By installing plug-and-play, fewer on-site personnel were required, addressing the growing shortage of skilled technicians. With the staff that was available, a very high level of efficiency was achieved.
