Isolectra enables innovative pluggable installations with the Wieland RST® system, specifically designed for concrete structures in structural work and tunnel construction. This offers attractive opportunities for cast-in-place concrete in tunnels and large-scale construction projects.
Integration of pluggable installations in structural and tunnel construction
The strength of Isolectra’s concrete installation lies in the integration of electrical connections within cast concrete structures, increasing efficiency and modularity in structural and tunnel projects. This installation uses the proven Wieland RST20® system, extensively tested and certified for heavy-duty and intensive applications.
Reduction of on-site work
Pluggable installation in structural concrete and tunnel construction offers the major advantage of significantly reducing work on the construction site. Thanks to the use of pre-assembled cables, connectors, and distribution units, traditional labor-intensive installations with conduits and cable trays are becoming a thing of the past.
Significant savings
Cables installed in concrete do not need to meet fire classification requirements, resulting in cost advantages. In addition, it is no longer necessary to install suspended ceilings, cable trays, and fire penetrations. This leads to significant savings in both labor and material costs, while also shortening the overall project timeline.
