Isolectra Pluggable Installation

Since Isolectra introduced the Wieland GST18® system in the Netherlands, pluggable electrical installation has taken off and an increasing number of electrical contracters are choosing this smart installation method. This is logical, as a pluggable electrical installation saves time and (failure) costs while increasing the flexibility of installation. If you opt for such a smart pluggable electrical installation, please note the changes in the CPR and the Building Decree.

CPR en Bouwbesluit

The Buildings Decree was amended on 1 July 2020 with regard to the requirements for cables in buildings. This has consequences for the use of NEN1010 and NEN8012 and the cables to be used for each application. Please note that these requirements also apply to pluggable electrical installations!
here are new requirements for the CPR fire classes for new installations, and a smoke class has also become mandatory. In the past, Cca and Eca cables were usually used, but this is now changing. Eca cables may not be used in contact with indoor or outdoor air! In practice, you now see that in buildings, extra-protected escape routes always have to be installed with B2ca s1 and protected escape routes often with B2ca s2, but for user rooms, Dca s2 is the minimum.

Wieland GST18® cable tubes are supplied in B2ca s1,d1,a1 and Dca s1,d2,a1 to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Building Decree!

Select Wieland GST18® pluggable cables according to the Building Decree as of 1 July 2020? Please use our CPR Document with 2020 amendments and changes.
