A pluggable electrical installation for every construction method

Isolectra and Wieland’s pluggable electrical installations offer solutions for any residential building project: prefab concrete, unit construction, timber frame or tunnel cast construction, either on-site or off-site. To choose the right pluggable electrical installation for a project, it is important to examine the following issues during the preparation phase:

Dry conditions
For dry conditions, the well-known Wieland GST18^® system is the best solution. This system is IP40 rated, flexible, readily available, fast and efficient. It is perfectly suited for application in unit construction, transformation and timber frame construction. There are solutions for both installations in hollow ceilings and hollow walls.

Wet conditions
If the pluggable electrical installation is fitted under damp conditions, it must be suitable for this purpose. This applies, for example, to installations in prefabricated construction elements that are exposed to rain when being fitted on a building site or if the installation could get damp in a building that is not yet watertight. For this purpose, Isolectra supplies the IP69K Wieland RST20^® pluggable electrical installation system that is suitable for all weather conditions and possible contamination on construction sites.

Pluggable electrical installation in concrete construction
With Wieland RST20^®, that too is possible. This system is so robust and reliable that it is even certified to be cast directly, without conduits, into prefab concrete walls, screeds and even tunnel cast construction. Pluggable electrical installation was not possible for these construction methods until recently. Wieland and Isolectra have specially developed and certified the RST20^® system. With a special concrete-resistant cable, this system is now also certified for casting directly into concrete. The RST20^® system guarantees optimum waterproofing, robustness and high-quality installation in all building conditions.

Maintenance-free by design
