The Dutch Environmental Database
There is a growing demand to assess the environmental performances of a building using the assessment method. For this, decisions regarding materials and installations have to be made as early as the design phase. As a result, the application of the data from the Dutch Environmental Database is becoming increasingly prevalent and important in the construction sector. The data from the Dutch Environmental Database are used in validated instruments to calculate a building's environmental performances, as referred to in e.g. the Building Decree 2012 and certification regulations for sustainable real estate such as BREEAM-n and GPR.
