WOULD YOU LIKE TO INTRODUCE YOURSELF AND YOUR ORGANISATION?
Absolutely! Mohammed Zaanan, living in Dordrecht and father of three beautiful children. After my first job, I joined Isolectra in 2000. With a 1-year gap, I have worked at Isolectra in various positions ever since. I’m currently commercial manager, building on our ambitious goals together with my colleagues. As a member of the MT, I get to define our strategy together with colleagues.

Isolectra is a dynamic organisation specialising in pluggable and modular solutions. Within this field, it’s important to properly support customers and partners and involve them in any new developments. We listen carefully to the market and our customers. We provoke feedback and then respond appropriately. This led to our transformation from trader to ‘value-added reseller’. A gradual process with consideration and respect for our customers, partners and suppliers. We are convinced that electrical and data technology can always be better, more efficient and more sustainable. As such, we believe in the power of cooperation and have therefore built up quite a specialism in the field of pluggable electricity and data solutions.

WHAT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF?
I am proud of our team and partners who make it possible to set new standards. Together, we are able to push new technologies and serve as an example to other countries. In particular, cooperation in the chain is essential. Learning to use each other’s strengths in the chain enables us to make great leaps forward.

WHAT ARE THE CURRENT DEVELOPMENTS AT ISOLECTRA AND IN THE INDUSTRY? AND HOW ARE YOU DEALING WITH THIS?
Major developments are taking place in the technology/human and environmental fields. Not only at a national level but also internationally. There is increasing demand for data, a shortage of technically skilled people and environmental issues requiring innovative solutions.

Construction methods are also changing. We want to build in a circular, sustainable and modular way. Trends/developments that have had our attention for some time. For example, we have developed a pluggable solution in concrete where cables, connectors and splitters can be inserted directly into the concrete. We have also developed a modular concept for industrial builders involved in off-site construction, combining data and electricity in a single cable with a smart-home application.

We have completed a lifecycle analysis for our pluggable portfolio, and are now listed in the National Environmental Database with a Category 1 Environmental Statement. So lots going on, and lots of developments to advise our partners on.

HOW DO YOU KNOW INCONED / WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE COLLABORATION?
We were already doing business with a number of IncoNed participants. It was a logical step to further formalise these agreements with IncoNed. This gives peace of mind so that people focus on the things they need to focus on.

A great collaboration that is taking on an increasingly concrete form. Setting up propositions together on sustainability and project collaboration.
