Pluggable electrical installation in tunnel formwork
Pluggable electrical installation is becoming increasingly popular. In the meantime, the plug-and-play way of thinking and method of assembly has become indispensable in utility construction, where suspended ceilings, cavity walls, raised floors and cable ducts are often used. In short: where there is sufficient space to install pluggable cable boxes, switchgear and cables. Following in the footsteps of utility construction, pluggable electrical installation is also becoming more common in residential building. especially in timber frame houses and houses with false ceilings where electrical installations can be fitted smartly, quickly and flexibly. Thanks to Isolectra, these benefits are now also available for construction methods without ‘empty spaces’, such as prefab concrete construction, cast construction and tunnel formwork.
This innovation was put into practice at the Van der Valk Hotel in Gorinchem and, in collaboration with Techval BV, Isolectra proved it is possible!
