Flat cable as the ideal foundation for EV charging stations

A smart solution for fast installation

Commissioned by the VvE, EV-Style installed 15 charging stations in the Hoge Erasmus parking garage. For setting up the EV infrastructure, EV-Style relied on Isolectra’s decentralized Wieland flat cable system.

High installation speed with just one flat cable

Thanks to the decentralized Wieland flat cable, EV installers can easily and quickly set up EV infrastructures in parking garages that can be flexibly expanded. Each circuit requires only one flat cable, which can be mounted directly against the wall or under the ceiling without cable trays. Branch connections to the charging stations can then be made at any time and any location.

Significant Savings

Isolectra supplied the flat cables, round power cables, mounting brackets, junction boxes, and end caps for the three circuits, including the corresponding protections. Because all materials are 100% pluggable, they can be installed even more easily and quickly. Installation is on average 66% faster than with conventional systems. Extensions can be realized 88% faster, and since significantly less material is required, cost savings of around 30% compared to a round cable are not uncommon.
