DALI Protocol for Switching and Dimming Your Lighting

Switching and dimming lighting is increasingly performed using the DALI protocol. For your plug & play installation, Wieland provides a range of solutions to route the DALI line to the relevant luminaires and sensors. The total length of your DALI bus is an important factor when selecting the right configuration.
The BST14i2® pastel-blue cable is available as standard in a 2x0.5 mm² version, and also in a B2ca-certified 2x0.75 mm² version.
The BST14i2® is suitable for DALI bus lengths up to 100 metres, while the 2x0.75 mm² variant supports lengths up to 150 metres.
The GST15i2® pastel-blue series is available as standard in a 2x1.5 mm² version and supports DALI bus lengths up to 300 metres. The GST15i2® is also touch-safe and more robust than the BST14i2®.
The GST18i5® pastel-blue cable is available in 5x1.5 mm² and 5x2.5 mm² versions. This combined cable includes both 230 V power supply and two conductors for the DALI bus. The GST18i5® supports DALI bus lengths up to 300 metres and is, of course, fully touch-safe.
A wide selection of connectors and distribution units is available for all three versions.
