Tunnel formwork building

Pluggable electrical installation in tunnel formwork

Challenges in tunnel formwork building

Tunnel formwork is one of the most widely used construction methods. Here, concrete is poured into a tunnel-shaped mould at the construction site. The builder and electrical contractors are faced with various challenges; shorter lead times, personnel shortages, having to build faster, and restrictions due to nitrogen emissions on the building site. Isolectra’s pluggable electrical installation system provides a solution for all these challenges.

Supplied ready-to-use

Isolectra’s unique Wieland RST® pluggable electrical installation system is suitable for use in tunnel formwork. The certified cables and plugs are proven to be concrete-resistant. Ready-to-use assemblies with cable boxes specially adapted for this method are delivered to the building site, quickly mounted on the reinforcement and directly embedded in the concrete structure. The result? Enormous time savings, both in assembly before pouring the concrete and in the finishing work
