We are Isolectra. Founded in 1949, on the commercial spirit of Mr De Joode.
From the inherent will to rebuild and grow after the war.
The first office building was on Bierstraat, in Rotterdam.
And later, on Wijnhaven, in the heart of the city centre.
 

Throughout the years, Isolectra had grown to be KPN’s permanent supplier for telephones, including the well-known T65 and later the Orlando DECT phone.
Many other types of wired and wireless devices followed.

You could also find Isolectra at every NS station, with our imaging technology.
We supplied the split-flap displays with built-in clocks on the platforms, and in the stations we developed the first generation of automated ticket machines.

The market knows Isolectra as an exclusive importer of many foreign manufacturers. Mostly from Germany, but also from countries such as the United Kingdom, Austria, Switzerland, Japan and Taiwan.
Isolectra worked with leading brands, such as Binder, Dehn, HellermannTyton,
Dynacord, Commend, Krone and SEBA.
On 2 July 1973, Mr De Joode and Mr Wieland signed a contract designating Isolectra as the exclusive representative of Wieland-Electric GmbH in the Netherlands.
That marked the beginning of a still close and intensive cooperation.

In 1975, the company moved to Rotterdam Schiebroek. It is time to go big time.
Branches are opened in Germany, Switzerland, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore.

In 1995, Isolectra was taken over by TKH Group. Much has changed since then. The companies in Singapore and Malaysia were spun off. Isolectra itself was split into two companies in 2015; Isolectra, the trading company, and Cruxin, the system integrator. Cruxin was sold in 2020 to Croonwolter&Dros.

Isolectra decides to focus fully on pluggable electrical installation. The specialisation we already started in 2015 gets a boost. Not only has our organisation been adapted to enable us to serve clients better than ever. But new developments were also implemented, such as pluggable electrical installation in concrete, which will revolutionise the installation market over the coming years.

After a diversion to Capelle a/d IJssel, Isolectra has returned to its roots. From the amazing World Port Center, on Wilhelminapier, in Rotterdam city centre, we work on the best solutions for the future. The future is today. It is on our radar!
