Answer:  Het bouwbesluit 2012 per 1 juni 2020 vraagt in artikel 2.69a en tabel 2.66 om specifieke eisen voor de brandklassen en rookklassen van kabels die grenzen aan de binnenlucht of aan de buitenlucht. Per gebruiksfunctie en soort ruimte (extra beschermde vluchtweg, beschermde vluchtweg of overige ruimte) wordt een brand en rookklasse aangegeven. Het bouwbesluit stelt geen eisen aan de druppelklasse (d) en de corrosieklasse (a) die in de CPR voor kabels worden aangegeven. De eisen per gebruiksfunctie zijn in onderstaande tabel weergegeven.
